About
My research draws on critical theories of communication and culture and explores promotional cultures in local and global contexts. I'm particularly interested in the intersection of consumerism and nationalism in post-communist Europe. I am currently editing a book on nation branding in post-communist Eastern Europe.
At the University of Denver, I teach graduate and undergraduate classes in media theory and history, public relations, and advertising.
